The virus protection experts introduce safety solutions for SAP and mobile devices
Tettnang, 20 August 2008 – At IT –SECURTIY 2008 Avira is showing partners and IT decision makers that the gateway for malware in companies is not only from the internet and email mailboxes: the dangers can strike even SAP systems and mobile devices. Rainer Witzgall, Vice President of Avira, takes up this subject in a presentation titled "The missing "A" – Avira protection solutions for SAP and mobile devices". The presentation will highlight the gaps in security with SAP NetWeaver and pocket PCs such as PDAs, Smart phones and mobiles and advise on the appropriate solutions. Further details regarding this will be explained by experts on the Avira stand.
Due to the fact that extensively protected private computers present a security wall for companies, Avira will be distributing the Avira Premium Security Suite to all visitors of the conference: malware via USB sticks, digital cameras, self-written CDs or e-mails from private mail accounts cannot cause any damage if the right solution is used.
The one day event IT-SECURITY 2008 will take place in four German cities: 11th September in Düsseldorf/Neuss, 23rd September in Frankfurt/Hanau, 25th September in Hamburg and 1st October in Munich. Details can be found at: http://www.security-2008.de
