Avira goes Italian

With immediate effect, the popular virus protection Avira AntiVir for corporations and home users is available in Italian
Tettnang, 2 July 2008 – The German IT security expert Avira has released its proven virus protection in Italian language. Private users can protect themselves from malware either with the Italian version of Avira AntiVir Premium or alternatively with the Avira Premium Security Suite which includes an integrated firewall and anti-spam. The software can be purchased via the Avira Online Shop at http://www.avira.it/online-shop for the price of € 19.95 or € 39.95 respectively. Italian corporate customers can obtain Avira AntiVir Professional exclusively via the Italian Distributor Achab.
Highlights of Avira AntiVir Professional, Avira AntiVir Premium and Avira Premium Security Suite is the new graphic user interface: The vertical menu system makes accessing the desired module even simpler and quicker. With just one mouse-click the user immediately has all information available about the security status of his/her system. In addition to this, the new menu navigation makes it possible to start updates, test runs and extensions directly from the interface. The new search engine hunts for viruses and other malware with a throughput capacity which is 20% higher than before. Users of AntiVir Premium and AntiVir Professional also benefit when on the Net with the new integrated WebGuard module. WebGuard checks the http-based Internet traffic for infections and automatically blocks phishing and malware-URLs.
