Increased Focus Switzerland: AntiVir Virus Protection

Tettnang, 11 July 2005 – The Value Added Reseller onSpirix is a new distribution partner of H+BEDV Datentechnik GmbH. The Swiss company will cooperate together with the German specialist for antivirus software as Premium Partner: onSpirix has included the entire AntiVir product range into its portfolio and is in close cooperation with the German company in the areas of sales, support, training and consulting. The objective of both companies is to promote the business relations in the Swiss market.
onSpirix is specialized in IT-security, mobile communication solutions and IP-media. Particularly the area of IT-security plays a major role and it will still gain greater importance in the future. The reason for this is that on the one hand, the dangers caused by viruses, Trojans, phishing emails and other security risks are constantly increasing according to the AntiVir specialists and on the other hand, networks are becoming more complex and the possibilities to use IT always become more multifaceted. This mainly applies to mobile communication, which is also increasingly used in a professional environment – for example to integrate sales representatives.
The portfolio of H+BEDV offers an extensive protection: the products of the AntiVir Business Solutions business area secure the IT infrastructure of small and medium businesses and the enterprise segment against attacks of viruses, worms and Trojans as well as against ad- and spyware. They protect workstations, file servers, web servers and email servers in a Windows and a Linux environment. Furthermore, there is a new product for mobile security available since the CeBIT.
