Caution with fake eBay invoices

Fake emails contain Trojan “TR/Dldr.EbayBill.F”
Tettnang, 15 August 2006 – Since the early morning there have been circulating disguised emails as eBay invoice once again. The email texts announce high invoice numbers in order to induce the reader to open the attached file. This file is supposed to contain a list of his turnovers. However, the file, which is disguised in form of a PDF file actually is a Trojan that installs on the system if the file is activated with a double click and infects it.
Avira AntiVir already detected the Trojan contained in the email on 18 July 2006 as “TR/Dldr.EbayBill.D". This means that the Avira customers who have a current virus signature database are optimally protected.
