Product Lifecycle – we give you security

Part of our Avira product philosophy is the long-term further development and maintenance of our products. We do this to give you the investment and planning security you need for your business. We therefore often support discontinued platforms for longer than the vendors of these operating systems do themselves – generally by an additional 12 months.

And even if we discontinue support for a certain platform, this does not mean that you cannot continue to use your Avira product. It only means that we are not continuing with the further development and maintenance of the actual program for this platform. However, updates of the search engine and virus definition will still be available for this program provided that the technical further development of our products does not prevent this.
