SMC: Why are the product's local settings not saved?

Answer

Starting with SMC 2.4, local changes in products' configuration are no longer applied, because the configuration and management are completely performed via SMC.

In this way, administrators of SMC networks can be sure, that the configuration they distributed via SMC is applied to all AntiVir instances.
